The Today's Disciples in Today's World conference was held February 24-26, 2005. Conference leaders included The Rev. Linda Grenz and The Rev. Rick Brewer. Its purpose was to help participants to explore different strategies for adult education and formation. The conference was underwritten by a grant from the Roanridge Trust.
Participants had the opportunity to experience many different programs available for adult education. They also discussed program design and brought home ideas for replicating the conference in their own diocese.

Using an animated version of C.S. Lewis' The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, this five-session or weekend program offers participants an opportunity to experience the story through imaginative role-playing, games and discussion. Great for VBS, Lent or camps & conferences. 
The Journey to Adulthood (J2A) is a complete youth ministry program of spiritual formation for 6th - 12th grades. It uses Bible study, prayer, rites of passage, outreach ministries and both serious and playful activities to underscore its core principles:
Take your VBS children to a different Medieval Pilgrimage destination each day: Rome, Canterbury, Santiago de Compostela, Dunfermline (Scotland) and Croagh Patrick (Ireland). During their imaginary journey, participants learn about the life and legacy of a Saint revered during the Middle Ages and pretend to make the trek to see and hear the story for themselves.

Based on the Harry Potter books, this is one of our most popular resources for a Sunday School break or VBS. 
WorkshopCycles is a new way of experiencing Sunday School. It takes seriously the spiritual development of children while providing creative, hands-on activities to help children learn the stories of God and God's people. Children work on the same story or concept for several weeks, using different learning approaches each week. Available as both an annual membership or as individual cycles.
