Taxes
TAX:
Tax is added for orders made in or shipped to residents of Massachusetts for items that are not licensed to or for use by a non-profit tax-exempt group. The states of New York and California have recently begun charging a tax on our books. If you are a tax-exempt organization, please file your tax-exempt number with us as the states that are charging taxes is increasing and we need to have that information on file.
Since this plays havoc with our automatic tax calculator, we have turned this function off, so you will not see tax assessed until you receive your final statement. We wish the program were smart enough to know everyone's tax status, but we just had to go with the majority on this one.
