The 5 Needs Books and Memberships

The 5 Needs (Agency & Professional Membership)

We all have the same five basic needs in life; the needs do not change but how we meet the needs changes over time. The 5 Needs in Life helps participants understand their needs and apply these learnings to their life and their interactions with others.  Materials are available as individual units or as a money-saving membership for agencies and professionals.

The 5 Needs (School Membership)

A membership desgined for schools who wish to help students understand The 5 Needs in Life and how it relates to our behaviors and relationships. Perfect for incorporation into curriculum or as an adjunct program.  Especially helpful for special needs children or those with behavioral issues.

The 5 Needs: Kids Have Needs

This workbook is designed for children in early elementary grades to gain an understanding of how to identify their needs and how to meet them in appropriate ways. This book can be used by schools, agencies or families. It is especially helpful for special needs children or those with behavioral issues.

The 5 Needs: Little Ones Have Needs Too

This workbook explains the needs we all have in ways pre-school children can understand. Includes coloring pages for the little ones to enjoy and for you to use to foster conversation. This book can be used by schools, agencies or families. It is especially helpful for special needs children or those with behavioral issues.

The 5 Needs: Moms Have Needs

This workbook helps moms recognize their own needs and plan for ways to meet those needs. Useful for any family but especially suited for families with special needs children or for those with behavioral issues. Often moms are so focused on meeting the needs of their children that they forget to meet their own needs -- and then discover they are unable to function they way they want to because they are depleted.

The 5 Needs: People Of All Ages Have Needs

This workbook is written with both teens & pre-teens in mind and has been used successfully in a job training program for rising 9th graders. However, adults of many ages have used the workbook too to identify their own needs and understand why we sometimes act the way we do.

The 5 Needs: We All Have Needs

This workbook is written for older elementary children. The workbook can be used in small groups or individually. Children learn what they need and how to get that need met without any difficulty. Often at this age children will ask the leader to “please teach this to my Mom” and hopes to learn to communicate what is discovered. Bullying can be stopped faster when children understand the need for power, and how to effectively meet that need. Children in this age group often “get it” with delight and practice using the language of the 5 needs in class and on the playground.
